If you look at it from real-life point of view it looks great, but from an in-game on Source using eyes of an old Half-Life fan it might look empty (still does it for me).

I really like retail's interpretation of depressing fall without leaves and also with nice Terminal Hotel, not covered in this, I just hope this is optional.

You shouldn't. You should keep your distance from them and be paranoid of that attack. Some people might like, some dislike. For me these soldiers are the most ******* casual bros with guns in Half-Life 2 only they don't have that text-to-speech charm HECU did, and it looks so stupid to clear all of their squads with these 40mms, but now they're almost like you and that encouraged me to block myself with props, being tricky in the most twisted way and focus the fight on my gravity gun, which is very weird. And the Game gets longer, for someone more annoying, for others more immersive. It's just that these soldiers need better passing - not using their alt. fire after Ravenholm and starting using it on coast, also it would be great to not fire their grenades on that bridge because, well, it's an old-*** bridge, and it would solve the issue with dodging them in CQB (what is, as stated before, impossible). anyway, the main decision should be done by the Creators.

I agree with Adman, while being a very Half-Life fan I am, seeing zooming in like that with such holo is a freakin' torture. Not to be rude or anything, but I don't know how iron sights can't be in "HL2 universe" - it's already a different game.

The only weird gun here is the Gluon which was one of it's kind - others are original weapons.

I think that they don't have a human tactical point of view - they are Synths. Sometimes rushing is the only sane solution against Freeman since players pick them from distance very fast and in the Nexus they just covered me like bees on the staircase what is ended with fatality. What's annoying for you could be very good for someone else, and so far they managed to keep their distance from their 40mm grenades during Nexus's skybridge and not getting killed, which is weird considering they blowed up their own during the first encounter after Ravenholm - an open long hallway. Good or annoying, it's sure weird.

I would like to point out that in the first encounter with Soldiers they already use their balls, and that kinda makes sense, but if you show their maxed out capabilities already then you would be bored with them sooner, so I suggest them to not use alternative fires for their weapons then and show the smg1 one somewhere on the coast, and balls should be in NP or like in the original - somewhere near/in the Citadel. Also there's a melee pack for original Soldiers' models which is not working with glowy ones, and it would be cool for them to use their leg kicks and heads :D, though I assume they will be reanimated for this MagnificentMod.

I don't know, buddy. They are casual enough, maybe it's okay that there's no warning? I like keeping distance - gives them more personality because you simply see them lomg enough and not rush through, which made Half-Life 2's gameplay **** for me on Hard Difficulty.

If you think of it... Half-Life with all of these fractions hostile to each other, it's a freakin' hell of a Brothers-In-Arms-ish, Metal-Gear-ish, Tacticool-ish shet for an RTS game! Holy craB this needs to see that sacred light of the release!

Are you kidding me? It's an exoskeleton, intellectual war armor from the future that makes you ignore pain and go berserk and high as **** on drugs. This is not for scientists because these eggheads would trash it in their first seconds as they put it on. Cross and Green were an exception. Those, not-muscle-bound scientists were an exception. Hell, even Freey was, and is, an exception since he is maybe a little bit trained, but still - a rookie. This is made for soldiers - people with equipment that's almost their second alter-ego, and the reason scientists use it is Xen/ Everyone in Xen should be a high skilled pro, so, it's them hiring HEV mercenaries, or training the hell out of ordinary scies. Don't forget the Hazard Course which was made canon on purpose.

Sadly, we can't calculate real life's fov since your vision is centered on, what seems to be in videogames, a crosshair, while everything shown to you on a monitor, borders of wich are not that blurry as in your brain's 2D projection of your vision, is already in "rl's crosshair" diameter. In real life your focused fov is pretty small, don't you think? Well, it depends on age very much, actually. Projection on monitors is almost focused for me, since i have a nice 16:9 one and there needs to be some distance between us. Count eyeball's physical structure and that space between two aswell (mind that some people put eyeglasses on and others don't; even lens's optical power matters)
It's not easy to say what should be in a videogame like this.

Tastes differ i guess. Anyway, it's a low-poly videogame and seeing weird sleeves like that is not comfortable for me (for someone might be) - that's my problem with these viewmodels. But hey, it doesn't mean that you should solve it, right?)

It would be great to have a classic version with original maps and this version with your assets - what if someone would like to play original Half-Life but with these AI edits? Maybe two different builds in a file section?
Oh, and about that Nightmare fuel - does it have his psychic powers? With such phased lighting that makes it flicker, it would look creepy as hell in a distance with it's weird twitchy moves, but instead of charging into player it would crawl back somewhere, making his creepy backstory for us when the battle starts, and we would encounter him after laser and tau events, like a final boss confrontation in that segment of BMRF, possibly fighting him alone and then with hgrunts storming the hell out of both of us.
Well, looks like you're doing a very great job on it. Thanks for your work guys :D

P.S.
The viewmodels' positioning should be a little lower. don't you think? And it's field of view could use some reducing, or maybe it's just me. Keep up the great work and thank you for your attention)
