No, you need different mod folders.
Sorry I don't know the sources, it was Ngugi's research.
The shorter range for steel bows came from sources about historical steel bows. I don't know the details myself.
Steel bows are on a completely different level, they are armour piercing but have low range. More effective shots already come with better accuracy, so I don't think it'd be right to represent it twice via damage, remembering archers usualy shoot at rather long range in contrast to let's say short range target practice.
If you want, I can also give you an excuse that they're not better trained but rather they don't fight so good while wearing all that heavy armour. :P
You're welcome!
The stats are pretty final. The person who created the stat system and balance is currently missing but I'll try to explain a bit. There is no big difference in whose arrow hits you but rather if it hits you. There are more differences in accuracy. Another thing is that in this mod armour is not made of paper which might turn out to be the case when being overly generous with missle attack points.
To be fair, the EG armoured cavalry archers were quite a late addition to the mod and something might have got mixed up.
Merry Christmas!
No, not anyone. It was you, however, who came here asking as if you were entitled to something you paid us for.
It's not about what we want, you don't owe us anything.
If you want to play, you need to have the space for it. It's that simple.
When you put it in a different folder.
Right click and choose edit should open the file and you can see all the things there.
Right, I'm sorry, I misread your comment. I have no experience in hotseat and I can't immagine what could have possibly gone wrong.
Hello, glad to hear you got that far! IIRC every character has a chance to die near the explosion. You brought your leader and heir to a possibly suicide mission and you were unlucky. IIRC when they die at the same time your faction also dies.
Hey! Campaign script should remove it when the conditions are met. Sauron Elephants won't be added, we consider it exxagerated.
Tol Acharns should start some time after invasions IIRC.
It should happen when Barad-dur is attacked but maybe hotseat broke it.
You're welcome!
He would not leave unless he needed to make his hands dirty in case of a serious threat or felt that nothing could stop him any more.
1. There are no generals in custom battles, only captains. You could add him as an officer to a unit but he wouldn't be as strong as in campaign.
2. I don't know, maybe hotseat broke something. He can't move because of lore reasons.
1. In this mod Sauron is an infantry-based general in the campaign. We don't use the elephant-based Sauron.
2. Do you have a save file before the attack?
Thank you! Men of the Mountains can change to Hosts of the West, Followers of Sauron or stay Middle-men. Player Rhovanion and Khazad-dum can temporarily change to Hosts of the West for a Tol Acharn.
In the article above, there is linked a guide - How to set up multiple installation of TATW 3.2 by Emperor of Hell
Sorry, I don't know. I have never played hotseat myself.
You may experience crashes depending on your choices.
