What would be cool is to simply limit the tendancy of the AI to go prone. This is especially true for SMs, but for other races too. I mean, WH40k throws realism off the window for every race, right ? Would it be possible ?

Well, the French Communist Party didn't exactly die after WWII. It was even moderately popular. Of course, it wasn't especially soviet friendly after the war (A few famous French Communists broke up with Stalin and the USSR in the 50s/60s). It would be interesting to portray that ingame by having the option to run a communist France which would still be a western country. Of course, you should still have the option to ally with the USSR.

Oh yeah, having a complete 1905-1949 mod would be neat.

We see more and more French vehicles these days... can we hope for a battle of France pack someday in the future ?

Dassault didn't "stuck canards to compensate". The canards are an inherent part of the design since the beginning. And the Rafale has faired VERY well in WVR scenarios against F-22s at each Red Flag they participated.

So, back to topic, you suggest a delta-wing design would be worse than B3 for stealth ? WTF are you talking about ? RIGHT ANGLE = NO STEALTH. Now look at B3. OK ?

Nope, delta-wings are the way to go for stealth. Look at the F-22, the Rafale, the Su-50 : they all have delta wings (or diamant wings, which is almost the same).

Depends on the role. If it's a long-endurance stealth bomber, A3 or B2 seem the most logical. If it's a fighter A1.

Or E2. I like the FAMAS handle :-)

The E2 looks like a carbine. Could be a defense weapon for tank crews or pilots.

If it's AA, a gatling could work. But still, 40mm auto is more versatile.

A2, looks NATO-ish enough to be plausible. B1 isn't bad, but looks more like a unit's insigna than a whole faction's emblem.

B1 or A2, by far. looks more practical. An integral helmet with sensors and caméras is a good thing, but if it breaks, you'll be happy to be able to remove it quickly and easily, that's why I'd rule out A1, A4, B2, B4.

B3 has the most plausible turret.
IMHO, gatling guns aren't useful if it isn't an AA unit. I like A3 and B3 guns, because they look like 40mm autocanons, which are probably the weapon of the future for light vehicles (IRL French and English NG light armour will use this calibber, for instance).

C1. FAMAS coupled with P90, what's not to love ?

The model is excellent, but it's true the texturing could be better. It's good, but could be improved.

I'd say 40mm. 50mm autoguns do exist IRL, but they're rare. 40mm is good for an all-purpose (AT/AA/Inf) autocannon, such as the imperial one.

Yeah, that's more like it. Any hit on the armoured parts is unlikely to cause any damage, but a few (let's say 2 to 10) in vulnerable parts (head, knees, neck...) should do the trick.

Of course, something noot taken into consideration in the tabltop game is the localisation of hits...

90 shots for a marine ? You're mad ? They're great warriors, sure, but they're not invincible. The majority of the fluff written in the codex or on the net is depicted from a lambda Imperial citizen's point of view. So, as demi-gods, depicted as invincible by the imperial propaganda. They're the best worrriors, sure, but they're still living beings with an heavy armour.
