I have some questions. Does this work with jsHexen 2? Also, has Assassin's Hide in Shadows been improved at all? Basically, what I'd like to see with Assassin gameplay is to be more stealth based. So you can move during Hide in Shadows, shortly - then you will become visible (unless you move to another shadowy area).

I, personally, do not like the gameplay of this mod. Not one bit. But the graphics/models/textures are truly inspiring in their execution. In that area, you have truly shone. Can I please ask you to be able to download just the graphical chances separately? Ofcourse, with the skin-changer of the space ships. That was truly mindblowing and the designs just made me drool a pool.

saegiru - are you still working on this mod? :) I am really loving it and that fantastic variety of things you can do with it. It truly is the ultimate visor mod. I have a request, and a couple of suggestions of what I would REALLY like to see comming with this amazing modification.

1.) Ability to activate armor/health regeneration? Both as a separate option. An option to set a threshold from how much and onward the armor regen would work... say, I have 1 armor left...I'd like the armor regen to work. Say I lose all my armor, so it'z 0... the armor regen wouldn't work. At least that as a selectable option.

2.) Have flashlight and Nightvision Goggles use batteries (instead of goggles just disappearing after one use). An option to set just how quickly each of them drains batteries. Also... an option for battery regeneration. (PS: flashlight doesn't work despite me having dynamic lights on). Maybe even able to change the color of Flashlight, and width/range like in "Steve's flashligt mod"?

3.) Able to carry more than 2 HEV suits.

4.) Make this mod compatible with Exp Doom. I can send you over the discord server. The guy is doing a fantastic job, and it would be truly a pleasure having your mod in this one, as the current radar of UDV doesn't show any enemies in his mod.

If you could implement these, Imma give you one big hug. I really Love it, and would love to play around with these settings in Exp Doom. Hope you are well and staying safe. All the best!

Just tried it out yesterday. Cool mod with lots of charm, but the jumps are insanely difficult at times - and you die a lot. Kinda kills the fun in the long run. Nicely done though.

A thing I noticed needs some fixing is that some tracks are loud while others are not. The one at Doomguy's home, for example, is rather loud, while Cash's shop can barely be heard.

Thanks! I just downloaded it and tried it out. It works! The glory kills work like a charm, and it's just so damn fun! Also... That Doom Blade... with all the powers up... that is.. em... fantastic. So many stealth kills from afar. :D Absolutely love it! The hook's upgrade makes you feel as Scorpion from Mortal Kombat series. You have added a huge level of awesomeness on it too.

I have noticed that some gibs don't interpolate. This mainly being heads of pinky demons and imps.

Also, may I give a suggestion? That you add a new permanent purchase: Night Vision goggles that look like exactly like in Project Brutality... green night vision, with objects highlighted?

Basically, the idea would be that when activated, it consumes battery power slowly. When turned off, battery would automatically regenerate/recharge (not too slow though). Maybe if you have played as Marine in the game of Aliens vs. Predator 2, you would know what I mean. In that game both flashlight and IR goggles use the same battery pool, where flashlight consumes very little battery, and IR goggles more. But battery recharges fast. That purchase would be rather welcome as it's a bit less strenuous for the eyes compared to flashlight. At least IMO. A possible upgrade to the goggles could be that they differentiate between enemies and collectible items... and/or make it possible to highlight false walls... or consume less battery.

Anyhow, thanks a lot dude for this file. I'm not gonna lie to you - this is single handedly my most favourite mod for Doom. The difficulty is perfectly balanced, it can be challenging, but you have the tools to beat it. It makes it both fun and satisfying, while also giving you that rush at times. Not being ridiculously unfair and unbeatable like so many fan mods for various games I've seen. Also, the upgrades/abilities (also wall scaling) is just way too cool. Good work!

I must say, congratulations. I am absolutely in awe with this mod. And the new monsters you added are so fitting. Very well made.

Though, I keep getting an error. I can't do glory kills, or my game terminates and I return to console. :/ I have downloaded the latest version. 2.2a.And I think I am used the latest version of GZDoom too, btw.

PS: Giving you a huge + for adding Terminator rifle sound on the upgraded Plasma shots. I'm a huge Terminator junkie (minus Dark Fate, screw it)... and hearing that sound was just... wowzah.

2.) The menu for the CatsVisor doesn't appear in Options.

Hmm, I have some trouble. I try to play in Zandronum (GZDoom doesn't work on my comp very well). So I added Project Brutality 2.03, CatsVisorBASE, CatsVisor, flashlight_bd... in that order. It won't load. I get these errors.

I have a bit trouble with this visor mod. I'm using Zandronum and Project Brutality 2. Basically, the HUD stretches a little outside of my screen resolution, which I think is 1366x768. The icons are barely visible. And timer doesn't show, and it's hard getting ammo as numerics. Much graphical eye candy is missed out, and some functional, given how it looks in the screenshot. Can you help me, friend?

Ahh! Got it working now! Thanks! I did download that one instead. And I zoomed out a bit. The visor shows, but a big chunk on top of the visor is missing. Most likely because the image isn't stretched. How do I stretch it? And/or where do I set the visor options to 16:9? I use a laptop with resolution 1366x768 I think? Thanks a lot man.

Howdy!

I might need your assistance, good Sir! Somehow I can't get it to work! And yes, I am a noob. I'm new to the series. :) Got it 1 month ago.

I got Burtal Doom 2.1, and I try adding this mod, with Zandronum. I use ZDL, and this is how I put the files:

- brutalv21.pk3
- UDV_v1.84_A_BASE.pk3
- UDV_v1.84_C2_VISOR - TPR.pk3
- UDV Survival Flares.pk3
- UDV_v1.84_D_MISC_Inventory_Goggles.pk3
- UDV_v1.84_D_MISC_Inventory_HEV_Suit.pk3
- UDV_v1.84_D_MISC_NoMenuFont.pk3

Upon load, I see the loading terminal show a lot of red text about certain code. The visor is not visible, but rest of the graphics is. If I remove the C2_VISOR - TPR.pk3... I have a small visor graphics that shows at centered at the bottom of my screen.

What am I doing wrong? I do want to have that HUD in the image. Also, when I try to activate the Radar, it says it requires some sort of B-Module. What exactly is that?

And a small request, if I may :) To add a .pk3 which doesn't replace the graphics of the armor shards. I kinda dig that skull with eerie green glow, giving off faint light on the ground. If it's not too much to ask.

I have the GOG.com version and I can't get this running. :/ The mod seems to load, and when I try playing Single Player, I select difficulty and it says "Your userinfo is malformed. Please restart quake 2". If I try playing Multiplayer, it keeps loading forever. I am using YamagiQuake 2. Someone please help me.

GZDoom works terrible for me for some reason. It lags immensely, unlike Zandronum. Is there any chance that this beautiful mod makes its way to Zandronum? It would be highly appriciated. Also... may I make some suggestions?

If you have ever played Aliens vs Predator 2, the marine can activate either flashlight or night vision. Flashlight drains less battery, unlike night vision, which drains it quicker. But when the battery is out, it automatically recharges over time. Rather quick/medium quick. I wonder if you could add this option as well?

And also adding a "Night Vision", which works just as Brutal Doom's rocket launcher zoom vision mode (secondary fire)?

Do you have a better version of this mod? One compatible with Zanondrum and Brutal Doom? It would be highly appriciated.

I have minor graphical requests about it:
- have transparent techy stuff at the side of the visor (like measurement stats), like in the real hud
- Health/Shield and Ammo to be bigger, and in same place where it was in Metroid Other M.
- That HUD changes color depending on health, maybe as an option? I personally just prefer the reticule to be colored. :)

First of all: FANTASTIC work. This is WICKED!

Now, I got two problems:

1.) How do I use Flashlight? When I turn it on, nothing happens. I have Dynamic Lights on.

2.) Is it possible to have enemy health displayed over their heads? If so, how do I do it?

Please explain in detail if possible. I just got DOOM 1 week ago, and finished it 3 days ago. Just started using mods. :) I'm using Project Brutality btw.

It was set on "Normal". Yet I experienced those difficulties. I did a clean re-install, and downloaded the 1.2 and 1.3 patches. And re-installed your mod. And all worked well, I have come to conclusion that it may not be your mod. I didn't download the KOTOR Conquest mod however. So... so far all good.

Dudes, did you up the AI in this pack? Because eversince I installed it and KOTOR patch, the AI is hammering me like crazy. Even on normal, they never miss a shot, they always make head shots and they spam only strongest weapons. Kinda annoying. Especially playing vs CIS as so many of their units suddenly have 1-hit kills.

Before the icons are chosen, you can see them clearly. When you choose a Force Power, all others darken - hence they look the way they do here. It is apparently controlled in a shader or something, but I am unable to locate it and change those settings.
