A lot of really impressive work has been put into this mod but as of now, at least for me personally it isn't stable enough for me to play. I've had a good number of game crashes and save corruptions. I've never experienced corrupted saved games in STALKER before this mod. Every once and a while isn't a huge deal at all but it's gotten to the point where both my backup save and quick save both are corrupted and I essentially lost all progress I had made on the game. This is a problem. Other than that the mod is pretty good. Some of the balance might be a bit off though. NPCs are able to use the Kar98 very effectively while I wasn't able to kill a single NPC with it. The anomalies are much stronger than in other games and mods but that's just the style of mod but it doesn't align with my personal preferences. The mod is graphically stunning and isn't that hard on your computer. my two year old rig can run it with a few hiccups on high. It would be nice to be able to open the porn mags.

Probably my favorite game of all time. The atmosphere is simply unrivaled. The game is an excellent blend of survival/rpg/action/exploration elements.

RO2 is a really nice update to RO Ostfront. Sadly, upon its release it was a disaster. Although this did and does not bug me this game is not as great as its predecessor. The game isn't quite as harsh as I would have liked. Some things have been simplified in an attempt to appeal to a wider audience. For instance, all bolt action rifles have automatic bolting by default. This left me fairly disgruntled. For a while there weren't as many maps as I would have liked and it took a while for community ones to be integrated. All in all though the game is solid, and the updated visuals are nice.

stunning visuals, impressive audio and excellent puzzles

This mod was great for introducing lots of new weapons, vehicles, textures and skins. It pretty fun at first. The only issue is that it is far too easy, even on the hardest difficulty. 80kg max weight is way too high and the player can take far too many bullets. The mod being easy made it get stale rather quickly.
