You've reached the profile of AK151. How you wandered upon this profile, I do not know, and I sincerely apologize for your misfortune. Should you decide to stay and have a look around, you'll find writing (some decent, but most pretty bad), (mostly) failed experiments, and perhaps some music. You may also happen across some fo-Star Wars stuff, much of which I keep around as a lesson to myself in how to avoid being embarrassingly over-the-top and ridiculous. It exists primarily for the currently ongoing Star Wars role-playing group (yes, there is a somewhat-thriving Star Wars RP here, believe it or not). Anyways, enjoy your stay, have a nice day, and, as always, have fun!

Hmmm. Not sure, I might check it out but I don't think I will like it :P I'm more of a Battlestar Galactic type of person.

The cool thing about B5 is that it has awesome space battles (and was made in the 90s, these scenes took WEEKS to render), it has an amazing plot and storyline (except for Season 5), brilliant acting, and realism both on and off the battlefield.

On the battlefield, fighters drift, following Newton's first Law of Physics, and ships that do not have artificial gravity (mainly from advanced races) have to have rotating sections to maintain gravity. Some Earth ships have no gravity and require that the crew be strapped down. Also, there are no shields on less advanced warships, and shields on advanced warships are weak and can easily be overpowered. There are no "uber" ships in B5, and there is absolutely NO TECHNOABBLE :D That's also something I also liked about BSG. In battle, they actually use STRATEGY, for example, leading a superior foe (in firepower, not in intelligence) into the atmosphere of Jupiter to destroy it.

Off the battlefield, there is humor at times, but it can be very dark, and the storyline after Season 3 begins to become more and more tragic. Warfare is realistic, and the main characters, unlike in some Sci-fi shows, are actually affected by it, physically and emotionally. Acting is great, and the character writing is fantastic.

All in all, it is a great series, in my opinion just a BIT better than BSG. But it's our opinion, no matter how much I try to alienate it :P

P.S. The story really starts kicking off in Season 3.

A montage of what is possibly the best science fiction series ever created. If this montage does not make you want to watch at least ONE episode... well, I guess that's your opinion. But I STRONGLY recommend watching the series. Made with Sony Vegas Pro 11. The music is "Take Me Away" by Globus. They are a great band, and I highly suggest checking them out. Enjoy! :)
