well,After mentioning all the issues..what Can i do?

I bought mine on steam...
I also like to note I increased my RAM to 8GB,my dedicated is now 512MB.

even with the RAM upgrade still persists...

one other question and a couple suggestions?

in the Galactic Civil War there are only Imperial Class I's only...and ship types are limited.

I also noticed that the Super Class Executor is weak and easy to take down...the thing has alot of hardpoints..but I noticed that when it takes damage all the hardpoints calculate together as if they are all one hardpoint...

maybe tell me how to edit in XML..please Thank You

I do not seem to have a problem with the smaller classes or the Imperial I's,but the Super classes are limited by one type...

I am wondering if there is a new patch that can fix the Lack of ships and they're hardpoints and the Death Stars blowing up planets automatically on the defense battle.

on the offense It behaves they way it should.

but when it is in orbit it behaves in a way it never does on the vanilla or ACM 2.4 Mod...

Care to elaborate on why I am having ships and supper classes issues..???

really?I am using steam and having a crashing issue...
I am using Windows 10 64-bit
A10-9600p
Dual Channel
8GB of RAM
dedicated RAM 512MB
R5 graphics

and it still crashes.
before I had 6GB,I thought the Access Violation error was a memory address problem...
even with 8GB of same pair matched sticks it still crashes...

Alright

I noticed the Death Stars will blow up any planet even if you control it..
How do I change the Death Stars from Auto fire?

Plus I noticed that the names of the Imperial Class I and II star destroyers names are copy's or same...in some cases...

Hi,I upgraded my RAM to 8Gb my dedicated is now 512MB...
Even with a Dual Channel Quad Core A10 7th Generation Bristol Ridge...
I still get this mod to crash through steam..

I can still get The ACM 2.4 Mod to run
and the battlefront mod...

I am thinking there is some bug causing it to do the access violation error...

I have been playing the star wars Galactic Civil war on hard mode and notice when I am defending any planet with the Death Stars 1 and 2,with a fleet they automatically blow up the planets...even if they are mine....

I don't like it.

Tell me where in the XML folder to change the code and tell me what type type please.

I downloaded this version and extracted it into the :

folder I am not sure if that is correct or if it needs to be in the steam workshop folder:

Ok I need a moderator of this mod and the support staff since this mod for the HR game is third party I need someone that can help me fix the issue with the crashes.
I have played the mod many times and gotten 20-40 minutes through....then crash...it works I know it does...

I already uploaded all the error data and files on another website...Microsoft TechNet...
someone there said talk to third party support for the mod and game...

This is the most recent with the Stargate Classic mod,I can get it to play ok with 3 Goul'd players vs me as Tauri.

but when I do a 5 on 1 it crashes a ways into the game.

Homeworld2.exe caused a Breakpoint in module Debug.dll at 0023:000315a2.
Error occurred at 1/12/2017 23:43:06.
Homeworld2.exe, run by mike's pc.
Microsoft Windows XP?.

2048 MBytes physical memory.

yes,I can see the irony...lol.
someone working at phoenix is spreading rumors and maybe there data got lost and their work gone..
maybe they decided to keep it qiuet because no one knows how good it will be..

or maybe they do not want other company's coming after them..

no one knows...but I suspect we will hear something sometime soon.

it is pretty simple and I got the first one to work correctly...then i went to install the second one the same all with admin privilges....

the zero hour works...exactly like he said above with the creation of the options.ini file...

ok everyone basically for the Command and Conquer Generals base vanilla game follow the instructions as mentioned with Admin privilige in the document file(assuming you got the file from a google.mediafire something site)and do the steps....
you will get the crash,but that is because you did not go into the file directory and right clik the exe and go to properties and select xp service pack 2 and run as admin....it worked for me

that is the first one....

How do I find a copy of a clean cracked copy?

anyway to the point,how hard is it to make a decent cracked copy of C&C Generals with the bonus DLC zero hour inlcuded the most basic install instructions
-extract burn or mount the .iso.
-run setup.exe and install
-copy crack from codex directory to install directory
-play

I cannot find one website out there with a simple setup like this one for C&C Generals and zero hour as a bonus...
Any honest non-deceptive ideas brother?

could this graphics details be what causes the EAW-RE mod to crash during battles when running it on a 64-bit system and with steam?

A have a windows 10 64-bit system
Dual channel 6 GB of RAM'
R5 Graphics 388MB dedicated video memory can go up to 3200 MB of system memory.
Quad-Core 2.4Ghz base and can go up to turbo 3.4Ghz.
AMD HP A10-9600p Bristol Ridge 7th Generation....

Brand new CPU/APU

As you can see I have been around alot and trying different things...I have used cff and 4GB patch for the steam files and no luck...error 51...

***(apparently steam lets you get away with he 4GB patch with steams HD edition of RE4)*** amusing

I have tried increasing my values in bcdedit...still no luck,
I have turned on java and updated my system....
cleaned my system...
right now I am re-installing the game fresh and the mod again fresh...

this game was written with 32-bit code and limited by 2-4 GB of ram...on a 64-bit system you would think by now it has been resolved...

two conclusions to draw upon...either steam did it right and there is no problem...I can run both the EAW and FOC vanilla fine.

or the mods files have a typo error...and needs to be adjusted...

I am going to try again this time like they some have said put the mod folder inside the corruption folder...

this was my previous installation directory:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods\EAW-Re

I will try again...

I am also going to contact petroglyph....get some head start advice on how to get mods to run on steam..or any system..

agreed,with me running both of my vanilla games the other night and seeing no issues...I think some file needs fixing or twitching...

I just wish I knew what causes exception errors...

I want to say ACM 2.4 worked great,but I had to use the defreezer...

the ICW Thrawns Revenge mod worked great no issue.

I have enough memory and ram I can run the gold pack version of both eaw and swfoc fine...and the mods ACM 2.4 and ICW Thrawns Revenge...

What I cannot understand is why can't the modders do it correctly...apparently the original game developers did it good.

I followed the instructions...

I have tried the 4GB patch and it gives me error code 51
I have changed a few other xml files like recommended and such...

yeah but,I am getting attacked on day 52 and onwards,but they started I think,around day 40 or sooner...um,I am playing hard mode and empire on galactic conquest...

I had to make changes to executor,death star and thrawn to make it buildable and the space pop cap to 35 instead of 50.
why?exception errors.

my system is 6GB of ram dual channel A10 go figure.

data folder file is an xml file replace the old one in your data folder where your game and mod installed ,look for xml folder..

as for the other files it is obvious to replace your swfoc files in your path directory...

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption
