NEW PROJECT WOO!!

So after the past few days of this idea just throbbing in my consciousness I'm going to pursue it. I started researching some good engines trying to find one, but at the moment I popped open Source SDK and whipped up a couple maps, couple textures, got some sounds, etc. Here's the post I put on the forums looking for a Programmer and Modeler, the two things I MAINLY need to complete an early beta of this project.

POSSIBILITY OF BECOMING A PAID JOB.

I'm currently seeking a Programmer/Character Modeler for a unique indie project. Will be using the Source Engine until we can find a good stand-alone engine. Project is Single Player/Multiplayer.

Already finished:

  • Idea
  • Storyline
  • Maps
  • UI Scheme
  • Some Models
  • Some Textures
  • Most Sounds
  • Web Hosting
  • Website will be finished when we have some Models done

We could use some help with anything, if you would like more info or if you think you can contribute and are interested go ahead and contact me! Any help is welcome, whether you're a programmer, modeler, mapper, texture artist, UI Artist, sound guy or whatever, we could probably use you!

Well, the move is officially starting. I'm no longer in California. I moved to a Gym here in Texas, competing at States in 2 weeks, ahh, sounds good. I love it here. And we've narrowed the house search to two houses, one in Shavano Park within San Antonio, TX, and one in New Braunfels, TX. Here's my opinion on it....

Shavano Park - one of the best areas within San Antonio. Beautiful little area, but it is one of the crappiest houses there. It has extreme potential, but it def is a fixer upper. It would be funky at first, but we could trick it out pretty well and in about a year have one of the nicest houses in the area and get a positive cash flow if we decided we wanted to sell it down the road. It's a small one story but it has a damn nice back yard and front yard. The front yard is COVERED with nothing but a ton of Oak trees, and the back yard is nice and would be good sized even if we added a pool and built a deck. But like I said, at the moment its a bit of a funky place, but it can be way cool later.

New Braunfels - Amazing German town in TX about 20-30 minutes from San Antonio and it's not far from San Marcos and Austin. So it's good for wherever. BEAUTIFUL town. Feels like you stepped back in time to the European settlements, and it's home to the world famous Schlitterbahn Waterpark. BEAUTIFUL house on 4.3 acres of land. Nothing but Pecan trees in the backyard, so it's a canopy in the summer time. The house itself is 3 stories. the bottom floor is two garages, BIG ones. Not enclosed so it's nice and cool down there. Walkway in between the garages, and stairs in each garage and in the walkway leading up to the living area. The back side of the house there is a deck everywhere on the second floor in the back. Nice big rooms, beautiful home, not that much needs to be fixed, so yeah. It's a very nice house. It's also a very unique design so you aren't going to find a house like it anywhere else. Personally, I like it a little more.. But I do like the location of the Shavano Park house (the fact that it's closer to a certain female has nothing to do with it *cough*)

So the move is starting. House back in Cali is up for sale, and we're going to decide within the next day which one we're going after.

So it's going good over here, new project, new house. Ahhhh, good stuff.
