Hola es más bien por motivo de la mitología, Tlaloc es uno de los dioses más importantes del panteón mesoamericano, incluso al comienzo del proyecto pensabamos ponerlo como un 4to dios mayor azteca. Finalmente decidimos seguir el estilo del AoM con 3 dioses mayores pero quisimos darle a Tlaloc un papel predominante como dios mayor disponible para todos los dioses. Además por motivos de estrategia, Tlaloc vuelve viables a todos los dioses en mapas acuáticos, y también tiene buenos bonus en mapas no acuáticos.

At the moment we are not 100% if we will also create a titans version. Mainly because lots of things would work differently and that would mean tons of new work. So at the moment, it is uncertain if we will do it. But we will let you all know any updates on this.

Lo más probable es que el problema se deba a que tienes windows 8 o anterior. De momento el formato de las texturas solo puede ser usado en windos 10, en el futuro el formato de las texturas será cambiado para que puedan ser leídas por sistemas operativos no tan recientes.
La versión actual es solamente para la EE Tale of the Dragon de Steam, pensabamos también hacerlo para la versión titans pero esa versión funcionaría de una manera muy diferente y sería muchísimo trabajo adaptarla, por lo que no estamos seguros de que el mod estará disponible para una versión distinta. De cualquier manera el juego no es caro en steam, llega a valer el equivalente a 2 o 3 dolares americanos en oferta.

Aztec AI currently does not exist, but there will be eventually. However, you can do the following in Scenario Editor:
* Aztec players should be set to Shennong.
* A trigger should immediately activate exactly 1 of the following techs: Age1Quetz, Age1Tezca, Age1Huitz
* Under Scenario -> Scenario Data tab, "Use Victory Conditions" box must be checked.
* "Filename:" box must say "basicvcnomain" (enables conquest victory conditions) OR "rotg_script" if conquest victory is not desired.

they are kind of similar but they aren't identical, they feel their own thing, they have different roles and palystiles.
About Quetzalcoatl, we had planned to give a feathered serpent to Quetza's Tlatoani Nahual, but that's an idea that might be removed is not certain now. In any case, there might be a feathered serpent for Kukulkan once we give out more info on the Mayans ;)

About Quetza's manifestations, we had planned that Quetza's Tlatoani Nahual would be a feathered serpent, for now the Nahuales concept is under discussion as it might be too much for the Tlatoani but its not decided yet.
And about yohualtepuztli I don't really think it will be in game because we find it to be quite morbid and gore(we know we already have human sacrifice) but still we don't think it really fits the AoM style

For balance purposes regular tzitzimime are stronger in terms of HP and resistance than Itzpapalotl, this is because Itzpapalotl is a flying myth unit, so it naturally has an advantage over melee units that cannot deal damage to her, so it would be pretty OP if Itzpapalotl also were more resistant.
We had planned to have the Centzon Totochtin rabbits as a GP for Mayahuel, but it seems that due to code and programming limitations we will have to change that.
As for the release date, we hope it to be in February (yes, this month) we wont give an exact date yet but it will be soon, so stay tuned!
