Rhetoric Games is in search of a talented programmer who can program functions and abilities into placeholder assets. This role requires a strong understanding of the Unity engine and is able to be flexible. The applicant will be accompanied by three other programmers who will be able to guide and inform the applicant of the happenings of the project.
About the Game:
The game is a post-apocalyptic survival horror semi-open world thrill ride. It focuses on themes of redemption and religion. The story focuses on the role religion plays on society and how that shapes our culture. The narrative will be delivered in-game--in a similar vein to State Of Decay--but with the gameplay style and visuals of Hellblade: Senua Sacrifice (with a hint of The Last Of Us).
About the Developer:
We're a relevantly small startup development team, which compromise of 4 people, all of whom are programmers. We're using pre-built assets to make our first built of the game to get a good feel of it. Once we're done the first built, we're going to replace all the pre-made stuff with original content.
