Hello all!

My name is Ryan Senter, a game development student at University, and am wanting to take the plunge and make a game under Dragon Plague Studios, a company which I have created for this endeavor.

This game is fairly simple, but due to its sandbox nature and style, has endless possibilities for expansion.

A full game design document is available upon request, but the basic features can be found below.

Project: Gloom - Temporary placeholder name

The world was rent by nuclear fire, years ago, and left much of the world uninhabitable. Thanks to the EMPs produced by the missiles and bombs, many electronic devices and technologies are now longer functioning. Now, steam reigns supreme. The world is now a post-apocalyptic steampunk world, where Airships are the preferred way of transport.

Key Features and Gameplay Mechanics

- First Person Ship Combat
- Living World*
- Ship Customization of Weapons
- Management of Crew

The Living World feature will only become available later on in development more than likely, due to its complex nature. Living world refers to the system we intend to set up where players can influence how the NPCs behave, fight, trade, and so forth. The butterfly effect would be ever present and extremely notable in this game. For a prototype stage, we would only require ship to ship combat, crew management, and ship customization.

This is volunteer work at the current moment. Eventually I hope to land this game on Kickstarter, IndieGoGo, or Steam Early Access. If any of these were to become reality, those who work on the game will immediately see pay, as backpay will be given with future pay as well, as long as we can afford it.

Please note that I want to create games that people will enjoy, not for profit, so if you want in JUST TO MAKE MONEY, we will likely not get along. I am open to trying, however, but I only see money as a bonus, not a necessity.

2D Artist Requirements/Recommendations
- Experience with Photoshop and/or GIMP
- If using PS, you MUST own your copy
- A license to your desired 2D software
- An ability to do stylized art
- This game will be low poly, and very stylized, as this is what my
skills in 3D modeling are at the moment.
- An active Discord account
- A working microphone
- Approximately 10 hours a week to work on the project
- This can be adjusted based on what you are available to do, just
note how much on your application

Thank you for your time
Ryan 'fluffinator09' Senter
