Not really, most of the Waffen-SS were Average or Worse Fighters like those Divisions formed from the Hitlerjugend or Volksgrenadiere, most SS-Guys did not even come from Germany and were used as Cannon-Fodder. All in all the SS-Performed worse than the Wehrmacht troops.
Most of that "Badass Fighters" were not even German, they were a Ragtag Bunch of Russian Croatians and other Eastern Europeans,the Rest was made of half trained Hitleryouth Guys.
They were not "Badass" they were even worse than the Soviets or Americans in Training not LIKE THE REAL GERMAN ARMY !
