Tired of those menus only having the commander as a personalized part, i decided to add a few things. Now Veteran Mod features a WIP customized main menu. What do you think?

Renegade Champion with army banner
Instead of an approach simillar to a IG standard bearer i decided to try and give renegades some sort of greater champion carrying the standard with its trophies. Any thoughts?

Tank traps with IG building animations
Pretty much i didn't like the idea that the tank traps would be built but with no building animation. This concept tries to address that issue. I will probably have to remove the decal (doesn't feel right to me) but i am thinking of leaving the randomized IG objects in there which would justify giving some cover to areas with tank traps.

Tau healer drone
Pretty much a tau drone with the capability of making emergency healing operations, using its medical precision laser to close any wounds that might by reducing the soldier's physical capabilities.


Waagh Walls concept
Using the walls that come in Ultimate Apocalypse and a Waagh Banner i decided to create something that could look like a wall with upgradable turrets.

Based on Rocket-Banana's comment i decided to try and create something simillar to what he suggested: a tunnel entrance system simillar to the one from GLA in C&C Generals. Any thoughts?

Finnally some worse news: Life is really getting from busy to busier and so this should be the last update in a few weeks or even months. Despite of that you can be sure i will be continuing my work on this mod until it is completed. The time that it will take to be completed, i am starting to suppose will be extremely long as my focus on a good gameplay and innovation takes me to corners of DoW modding that can wield awesome results but are not always easy to navigate and so things are done slowly.

Sad to hear that development is slow and real life is taking you away, man. :(

This made a literal tear drip from my eye, by the shear awesomeness combined with heart touching EVERYTHING.... this mod in the future will be a hit. A huge hit! I am also interested in knowing how you made the main menu? With a specific race selected.... dead bodies appear as a certain faction! How did you do this?

I'm REAAAAALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYY liking the changes good. Keep it up. ;)

Most people would edit the main menu directly if they want to change its appearance right?
Instead of focusing only on the main menu model file i worked with the commanders themselves, thus making it more personnalized.
Where i used dead bodies others could try to introduce whole different environments with a bit of work and testing.

Thanks man! It is mostly a matter of finding usable objects and working inside the limitations of either the main menu whm or the army commander whm (or any other as you might decide to place something pretty innovative as the frontend model and edit it).
