Yep, he was turned over to the Inquisition because Leandros suspected him of being tainted by Chaos. The irony here is that Leandros (who treats the Codex Astartes as a literal bible like the usual ultramarine) failed to realize that he should actually report to the nearest librarian or chaplain if one suspects a fellow battle-brother of heresy, not the inquisition as stated in the Codex Astartes.

The only Ultramarine, that is somewhat likeable. The fact, that there will never be a sequel to his story is very painful.
