For everyone that likes Warhammer 40k Tabletop and Dawn of War Games or anything to do with Warhammer 40K.
Nothing against the art quality, it's simply outstanding, it's just... kinda weird to see a depiction of the Emperor with so little gold/yellow.
This was most likely pre-crusade era when he had just revealed himself to mankind.
the lightning bolt was the Emperor's main personal symbol, so one would expect to find it all over his armor.
the pauldrons are also way, way too small.
otherwise i really like it. who knows, this might be an earlier Unification-era warplate, which probably would render my two main gripes moot anyway.
(oh, the Emperor is obviously superhumanly huge, but not even Space Marines have arms that short compared to the torso)
I think if the artist put some lightning bolts next to each other a certain ethnic group might start complaining.
And for obvious reasons!
Oy vey
Am I the only one who thought he was holding a teeny-tiny little baby sword?
LOL that was funny as hell
Interesting edition of the Emperor's armor, we usually see it in gold, not silver.
This is unification-era armor. Perhaps even before then.
