Mass Effect universe was probably Humanity during wh40k's Dark Age of Technology.
Nah, that would be Star Trek. The tech and ideology matches.
except star trek would really frown upon the DAoTs heavy use of the men of iron "among countless other brutally efficient and simultaneously effective weaponry and tech" for waging war on a galactic scale.
Yeah, such as the fact that humanity used black hole weaponry as the standard weapon for their space ships. That alone proves how far the Imperium has fallen.
at least the reapers would be away fighting the necrons
