Pretty good actually, a less bad jump would send you a decade into the future or past.
A really bad jump would be hitting a warp entity mid-flight and the Geller field shutting down because of it, some of the entities there make Imperator battleships look like toothpicks...
Or you could try to rekindle negotiations with the Eldar to use their webway.
Although all in all, none of it will matter when we seal off the immaterium.
well then just take any of the others "lost in warp" vessels of the imperium. or the lost in warp space marine chapter. plenty enuff warp related victims... poor imperium of man...

Sounds about right. You would think they could figure out a "safer" alternative.
I would think the simple warp dives of Tau ships would be safer but covers much less space in a "jump".

What happened to the original crew of the Event Horizon pretty much, except they had no Gellar Field.
