I actually had a game of 40k on New Years Eve with some friends and since I played Blood Angels, I came up with some themed drinks.

"The Red Thirst" turned out to actually be pretty good.
If you want to try it, mix Amaretto and Cherry Liquor 1:1, if you want it to have more of a punch, do 1/3 each of Amaretto, Cherry Liquor and brown Tequila.
Then add about two dashes of chili powder and stir.

I remember this scene in the book. Space Marine was missing an arm while the Dreadnought was stuck in that drop pod. They became bros.

Oh bother, which arm was it? I may have accidentally included the wrong one in the scene.

Left arm I believe. He had it replaced with a bionic. His face also had bionics. I know it was described in the book Know No Fear.

Could not find any pictures of him, just a custom fan made tabletop model: S216.photobucket.com

I remember him being heavily augmented, but didn't recall that he was actually missing a limb in the part my scene references. Couldn't check myself, because I lost my copy of KnF some time ago. Oh well, it's a minor continuity error on my part.

Remember that part in Know No Fear when "it starts to rain main battle tanks"? Of course you do, how does one forget a scene like that? I wanted to illustrate the aftermath.

Featuring tetrarch Eikos Lamiad and the dreadnought Telemechrus.
