-sigh- As interesting as this is... It couldn't happen. At all. Tau do NOT register in the Warp. That's also why none of them are Psykers, or can BE psykers. There souls, and there physical presence has no connection to the warp, whatsoever. -.- chigity check yo facts, 'fo you wreck yo facts.

I was just about to state this. Any Tau could follow Chaos though remain untainted by it's effects. Same principle as converting to a different religion.
Exactly. To be "Chaos Tau" requires only a surrender to the ideals of Chaos - being warped in an effect of this rather than a cause. Just because Tau can't be warped by Chaos doesn't mean they can't actively choose the tainted path.
