In japan in the year 40,000, there is only tentacles.
Pretty sure "Imperium of the Rising Sun" is reserved for the Tau. Reasons are obvious.
Hmmm...I think that they missed the red star behind the artillery images or behind the Aquilla.
According to Lexicanum, the Imperium is a combination of the Roman Empire, Catholic Church, Victorian Britain, the Soviet Union, and Nazi Germany.
Tau are Japanese only in tech (inspired by mecha anime) aside from the honor blades they carry. Eldar have more in common with Japanese culture, particularly samurai culture.
