This is a group for those of all, yes all, beliefs, even those lacking any, to simply discus and share content in a peaceful manner without hatred or holding contempt towards anyone purely over their beliefs.
There are multiple admins of many beliefs and hopefully there will be additions in the future to those which will be admins.
There is to be no trolling, flame wars, and so on here. So if you plan to be a ass I hope you enjoy your extremely short stay, though for most I doubt this will be a problem.

Does The Bible say that human sacrifices are okay? No, quite the opposite actually. Does The Bible say that unicorns are real? No. Does The Bible say...
This is an article I found on Cracked.com regarding similarities between Atheists and Christians. It goes over many of the ill thought-out misconceptions...
An article about Buddhist concepts and beliefs that can (or rather can't) be found in video games.
An article about Christian concepts, beliefs and values in video games.
I never said I didn't think god was involved, which i do.
but we can test and study and show it happened in this way, there is no evidence for genesis, anymore than for the hindu creation story or for any of the other creation stories.
early Genisis is in my oponion and in many others just another myth based on oral tradion with no evidence to prove it.
(There is somethings humans and science will never know)
:)
I don't want to start a flame-war so I'll make it basic and say I totally agree!
the Universe is infinate, so well can never understand it all. but science has and will contunie to help us understand what we can.
and the chicken and egg question is deceptive, if you want the true answer it was the first true cell that came first. everything comes from that.
before that proto cells and the chemical soup of the early oceans.
all life evolved from that.
It's deceptive in the sense that it answers only the literal question, without delving deeper than needed. ;)
Finally remembered the answer to the "Who created the big bang" question.
This question is countered with "Who created god", answered with, "God created himself, he is eternal" But guess what else is self creating and eternal, Science. Physics will always be there in some form as we know it. science is eternal. Leading me to conclude that time begins with the big bang, and that time before it is of no importance. This is what created the universe, meaning why couldn't it create itself?
P.S. I'm tired and haven't blinked in hours (Dark souls ftw!) so I might mes a couple things up.
(Here is one that will stump the atheist (not trying to be rude) but what came first the chicken or the egg)
The egg.
The egg was not layed by a chicken but by the chickens parent, simple heredity.
The product was the chicken.
:)
i am a christian i believe there is a god
i do not really believe the earth is 2000 years old people jump to conclusions it does not say that in the bible. I think 2000 years is when people started to record time.
Question: If evolution is real how come if we came from monkeys they are
still here?
Question2: If the big bang happened why did it not happen again?
Question3: If meteors killed the dinosaurs how did they evolve?
These are the questions i want science to explain because {everyone contradicts each other} oh and i got that line from sortaZ bio.
God bless you all.
"Question: If evolution is real how come if we came from monkeys they are
still here?"
I'll respond with an analogy: If the British colonised America, why are there still British?
Also history has been recorded long before 2000 years ago, but the oldest "records" I think reach back about 10-30 thousand years.
1. Genetic mutations do not always affect the whole species, your idea of evolution may be inaccurate. All of them don't evolve at once, but their genes may progress, similar to new diseases being created. (This is my understanding of it atleast)
2. The big bang is when the universe cooled from a hot density, as they cooled the gravitational force apon the atoms took effect. Science does not adress anything before the big bang. If anyone says 'Because god created it' then I will reply with "Then who created god?" One cannot create one's self, only one's purpose and intent.
3. A Meteor impact will not kill them from the heat but from the fallout , creatures have a nasty tendency to survive things. Evolution is ongoing, they adapted to survive. How did the world survive its many ice ages? And why can we not see the impact? Because time has passed and we always find a way to survive.
I'm pretty sure I screwed up somewhere there, so I am going to take a break from confrontation due to not feeling optimum. (This also explains many of my half-assed comments.)
Nobody created God, He has always existed for He is eternal. We as humans can't really grasp such a concept but it is the case. I can't really form an opinion on the Big Bang. If it did occur then thats just how God created the universe and would explain why the universe is expanding and why it is mentioned in the Bible that God "stretches out the heavens". Its a crude term but there are many scientific references in the Bible. One just needs to understand the mindset so as to understand the simple way of describing such concepts. If you look closely one can see that they knew they were living in a universe and not just on some flat disk. They also knew the Earth was indeed not flat but a "circle" (sphere). They even knew about a fair number of the other stars and constellations and even called them by name. My main interest is how extraterrestrials would fit into what we believe. Their existence would not contradict God's Word since it is not even mentioned at all (He leaves some things for us to figure out ourselves or we really shouldn't know). If we were to discover they indeed exist for all we know they may know about God too and may have an even greater understanding than we do. Just something I think about sometimes.
Reality is energy:
Orobai.tripod.com
Canweevolvenow.wordpress.com
In fact, we are walking suns of energy, bio-mechanical vehicles, distortions of so-called "God", not exactly the God from our dictionaries and their definitions, not a force/being that is to be "worshipped" at all, especially with pagan/human practices/rituals, but a force that should be SIMPLY understood and respected.
Just like we should respect our thoughts because they create new patterns in reality, you think about peace, you get peace, you think about ice cream, you get ice cream, you think about getting a new neighbour, you get a new neighbour, and so on. Whatever and whoever you think, you'll get it.
It just takes some time for thoughts to be realised, sometimes months, sometimes years. And sometimes just weeks or days or minutes, depending on what is it you wish.
And in fact we are constantly "praying" with our thoughts - whatever religion or nonreligion you follow or run away from.
The whole "everything" can be described as:
Thought/Intelligence -> Path/Time that takes it to be realised -> Realisation/Embodiment/Word
We got a very distorted/filtered "Christian" version of it, in the form of God the Father -> Holy Spirit -> the Son.
There's nothing really "Christian" about it (except if you mean that Christ was an incarnated being), nothing scientific yet either, but we all come to the realisation that on a subatomic level everything is energy (protons, neutrons, electrons, remember them?).
