The Meeting image - The Galactic Empire

*Master Fai walks up to contact, who was sitting down in a nearby restaurant. The Umbris was stationned in Hanger B-7, on level 3. Fai was on level 5. He didn't like being this far away from his ship, but it wasn't like he had a choice. Fai sat down in front of the man. The man looked up, now Fai knew why they called him the "Man with the red eye".*

"You have the codes?"

*The man with the red eye nodded, taking out a data chip. He handed the chip over to Fai, got up, and left. Fai thought it strange that he didn't have to give anything to the man, though he was probably being payed by someone else to give the codes to him.*

*Fai got up. That was easy. Now all he needed to do was get to his ship and all would be well.*

Before the man could leave the door a droid stood in his way. The man had a look of fear in his eye, and was shot by the droid's built-in blaster.

"Statement: there is no where for you to run ... Meatbag. My ... Master wants you dead. Imperal troops are moving in to your ship as we speak, and soon it will be destroyed."

If anywhere in that speech the jedi would seem to make a move then the droid would fire its sonic screamer at the jedi to break his force concentration then attack with its built in flame thrower and gauss blaster. If the jedi didn't make a move during the speech then the droid would do so afterwards.

The whole building was surrounded by annihilator droids, imperial commandos, sith warriors and inquisitors.

OOC: The man left before any of that happenend, as did Fai. Like I said, you got there in time to stop me from leaving the planet, not the building. Be grateful I'm even giving you this chance.

And I agree with AK. You'd think a Jedi Master who specialises in Force Sense AND Force Sight (him being a Miraluka) would of taken a hint when an entire army gathered around him >.<.

*Fai put his hands up in mock suprise. Suddenly, explosions could be heard. Five Resistance Operatives had been placed around the building, supervising it. They had thrown thermal detenators towards the droids and Sith, blowing most of them up. The operatives began shooting at the Imperials, taking cover behind various crates or inside buildings.*

*The droid shot at Master Fai, but the attack bounced off a shield formed when he raised his hands. His arms streched out suddenly, and the Droid found himself being pushed through the air. He then raised his hands, and the roof above blasted outwards, and Fai jumped through the hole.*

*He jumped from building to building, making sure to either dodge or block any blaster fire or other attacks, and any Sith that tried to jump in to intercept him was pushed away using the Force.*

*Meanwhile, Imperial Stormtroopers went to surround the ship. Before they could however, they were shot down by the Umbris' Duel Turrets. The Ventral turret, to be precise. The Dorsal Turret was ready to shoot down any fighters that would appear.*

*The Umbris took off, landing again in a hanger on level 5. Saye took her comms device and told the Jedi Master that she moved the ship, and that she couldn't stay long. Hanger D-7. Fai nodded, and began making his way towards the hanger.*

*An Imperial fighter lifts off from a nearby hanger and flies over to the Umbris hanger. It launches 2 rockets full of Buzz droids at the Umbris. They land on the Umbris and begin to take the ship apart. If that wasn't enough the fighter recircled again and launched a proton torpedo at the ships rear. Right were the engines were. The resulting explosion disables the engines but not destroys them.

OOC: to be honest ten i think that was too easy, running through all of those sith and droids

IC: the annihilator droids sheilds protect them from the thermal detonators and they easily gun down the operatives with their heavy repeaters. the inquisitors pool their force powers together and send a massive force blast at fai, sending him flying back. the droid follows and activates his built in sonic screamer, making it increasingly hard for the jedi to concentrate with the force. he then unleashes poison gas at the jedi, which would could knock him out for days.

meanwhile in the hangar defensive turrets open fire on the ship as it enters.

OOC: this is no mere droid :D that droid is the most successful droid jedi hunter in the galaxy that has ever existed :)

OOC: I think it was too easy how you simply appeared with an army, considering Fai is an expert at Force Sense and Sight. He would of sensed the many Sith you have before even landing, and would of made another meeting somewhere else. *shrugs*

I was expecting two or three Sith, maybe a few droids or bounty hunters. You brought an army. I was going to fight, but considering I can't I'll just get the hell outta there as soon as possible.

Malax: I know lol. Pain told me all about him beforehand >.<. But that droid relys on stealth and rapidity, otherwise he is just a droid, albeit an advanced one.

*The Umbris' dorsal turret shoots down the Imperial Fighter with ease as it appeared, destroying it before it could unleash its payload. The defensive turrets fire on the Umbris but fail to penetrate the shielding. Yet.*

*Fai runs as fast as he can, and can sense the massive Force Blast coming his way. He prepares himself as it nears, and uses it to propel himself furhter away from the Imperials behind him when it hits him. He lands, rolling on the floor and quickly getting up. He looks behind him. The Droid was running after him, but he couldn't match Fais speed.*

*Fai turned into Hanger D-7, using the Force to protect himself from the turrets. The Umbris lifts off, and Fai jumps onto the extended landing ramp. He quickly gets to the cockpit, inserting the codes into device.*

"Transmitting a copy of the codes to you, Shadow-2."

*The Umbris quickly ascends from Corellia towards the dark abyss that was space. Fai presumed fighters would be scrambled to intercept them.*

"Saye, make the jump to hyperspace as soon as possible. Get Votum Squadron in to cover us immediatly. This is going to be a rough ride..."

knowing that a fighter was escaping with vital information the ships in orbit activate their gravity well generators, forcing the ship to escape the feild if it wants to escape the system. the fighters and corvettes orbiting the system converge on the ships and the squadron that appeared to cover it. the oppenned fire with everything they had, with a barrage very difficult to dodge.

OOC: Haven't called in the squadron yet.

*The Umbris charged right at the corvettes ahead. The Dual Turrets shot down enemy fighters in a 360 degrees radius, though more seemed to appear from the planet below. Around half a dozen corvettes were charging up their weapons, ready to shoot down the single enemy ship coming directly at them. However, they never got the chance to do so.*

*Multiple Fighters appear, maybe two dozen, each of them X-85 TwinTail Starfighters, modern versions of X-Wings that replaced the former X-84s and the X-83s before that. They unleashed their payloads of proton torpedoeson the unsuspecting Corvettes, crippling them before they could fire. The Umbris got past the corvettes, though swarms of Imperial Fighters were still chasing resistance forces.*

"This is Votum Squad, Shadow-1. We got you covered."

*Votum squadron charged into the fray. Formed out of the remnants of former Galactic Alliance Rogue Squadron, the very same squadron that was apart of the Alliance of Light, the members of Votum Squadron easily outmatched the Imperial Pilots in terms of skill. However, the enemy outnumbered them 5 to 1, so the fight was not looking good. Although a dozen enemy fighters had been shot down in the initial charge, and many more in the ensueing dogfight, Votum Squadron could not keep this up much longer.*

*They quickly disengaged, desperatly trying to dodge the enemy attacks, using all their skill and all their tricks to survive. Around 10 X-85s had been shot down, but they did their job. Umbris was nearing the perimeter of the gravity well shield, and the X-85s superior speed was allowing them to escape the grasp of the Imperial Fighters.*

*The Death's Whisper jumps into system near the Umbris activating its gravity well generators. 4 Corvettes also jump in and begin targeting the Umbris. Every last fighter is launched, these being more advanced pilots. They storm after the Umbris followed by the Death's Whisper.

A modified Sith Infiltrator, nicknamed the Wraith, pulls ahead of the other imperial fighters and begins to gain on the Umbris. Malax pilots the craft and begins to charge up his weapons.*

OOC: Hola ten :D

the rest of the ships in the system concerge on the squardron and open fire with salvos of missiles. most of these contain buzz droids which latch onto the ships of the squadron and take a few apart. the ship get closer and open fire with their laser cannon batteries, with thick barrages of blaster fire.

*Knowing of the vital information if the Jedi were allowed to escape. The remains of the second fleet jump out of Hyperspace. New fighter squadrons had been placed in several frigate and capital ship hanger bays. They are launched and speed after the Umbris. A few break off to deal with the remains of Votum squadron. Several ships of the second fleet turn around, so that any enemy ships that came in behind the fleet will be themselves be caught by suprise. Interdictors as well are activated, incase the Jedi forces somehow destroy the others.*

OOC: Blimey... You guys sure want to kill me :O

And it is stated no where that your ships have missles, least of all buzz droid missles. Predator fighters don't have missles, only lasers.

IC: *Fai saw the Death's Whisper jump into the system, right in front of the Umbris. He immediatly shouted out his orders.*

"Votum Squadron, target the Corvettes! Saye, get the bridge and Gravity Well Generators!

*Exploiting the fact the ship is jumping out of hyperspace, meaning shields and weapon systems would be temporaily down, the Umbris fires 4 missles into the ships bridge, and the rest are fired into the Gravity Well Generators. The bridge is devastated, and completly wiped out as are the gravity wells. Votum Squadron launches its remaining proton torpedoes into the Corvettes, finishing them off with laser fire. The Death's Whisper is crippled due to the destroyed bridge, and presents no threat to the Umbris or Votum Squadron.*

*The Umbris and Votum squadron sharply dive down underneath the Death's Whisper, using it as cover from the enemy fire. First, the Death's Whisper fighter squadrons arrive, but are quickly dispatched by the rebel forces due to the fact that most of the pilots were recalled when the Bridge was destroyed. Then the remaining fighters from the Corellian garrison arrive, and find themselves attacked from all sides by Votum Squadron and Umbris. Many Imperial Fighters fall to the initial attack from the ambush, and the rest are either picked off or retreat to regroup with the second fleet.*

*Fai would of normally been worried about the second fleet. Luckily though, his contacts in the Fel Empire had told him the second fleet had only recently come out of a fight with the Mandalorians over Mandalore. Although the enemy may of resupplied with new fighters, he doubted they had a full complement. Which was just as well. Then again, the Second Fleet was quite a way away from them. Might aswell just leg it.*

*Fai ordered the retreat of his forces out of the interdictors range. Vitum Squadron had suffered heavy casulties, nearly 70% of the men in it were dead. The X-85s and Umbris diverted all power to engines, and retreated out of Gravity Well range without much hassle, the enemy fighters weren't fast enough to catch them. They jumped to hyperspace, and although the Resistance had "won" this battle, it seemed to the pilots of Votum Squadron that it was more like a draw.*

*Malax orders the remaining fighters to form up and together they jump into hyperspace back to Courascant for new orders. He informs Lord Sion that the Jedi escaped and that he wishes to continue his hunt for the Jedi.

He checks to make sure The Wraith is all good to go and heads back out in search of the Jedi.*

*The Second fleet reforms and makes a jump to Hyperspace towards Kuat.
