How many times the "elder scrolls" is mentioned in the series, anyway?
When have we ever even seen one save now? I never played Morrowind and there wasn't one in Oblivion to my knowledge.
Sorry for spoilers but you have to steal one in the final thieves guild quests. Morrowind does not have one and I think Arena/Daggerfall had something to do with it.
There was one related to the Thives Guild quest in Oblivion, iirc.
