One thing I might add that struck me about this song is that it fits the theme of the NLR. Would make a great national anthem actually...
Liked it. It was pretty well made.
One thing that bugs me a little is the fact that they tried to replicate the shows style. Lots of animation groups are doing that and I just dont understand why. The shows style isnt perfect, its good for cartoon standards but thats it. Something different would have been nice.
Well, the thing is the show style is generally loved and the fandom has been trying for years to replicate it. Nowadays you find so many animations made in 2013 that have successfully replicated show quality like this one.
Maybe in the future they might take it further than that but for now the show style is the best most of the animators know. (Although I have seen some go off and make their own unique styles, most of the time these aren't as good)

This surpassed the show for animation technique, the things such as 3D effects, details on the ponies and stances were actually better than the show in my opinion ^^;
