Edit: If the text looks too small for you, Right click and press "show picture" to get just the picture.
Texture tutorial - Blending two textures together
This is a blending tutorial between two materials, for Photoshop users. You can add snow on cliffs, or stones on sand, slime on bricks, etc etc et cetera. Stuff on stuff. The tutorial only shows the technique, so play around with it for some great effects.
