A column of French Leclerc tanks as part of a UN force in Lebanon.
This thing has the most weird secondary armaments configuration I've seen so far.
Oh yes. But then again, why does it matter what it's secondary armament is. It's french. They'll be firing white flags from their main guns.
We're not going to let go that part of the history do we? :D
Nope, I don't think we will. Though I will give credit when it is due. They may have surrendered but the Free French fought alongside us and the French resistance disrupted German operations in France.
although le resitancé is today higly over-rated, they didn't achieve much compared to other resitance groups in other countries. MI5 (or 6) was so unhappy with them that they was near cancel all collaboration with them in favour for communist resistance rather then de Gaulle's :D
Plus it's a UN convoy, so they won't fire at all, as they're just there for show.
If they need direct confirmation from the general secretary himself to fire the LMGs, de heck do they need to be allowed firing the main gun? XD
