they will need to be balance so not really superior, only different....
but I have a question? am I really the only one that doesn't mind chinese tanks....i'm actually thinking of getting some of them :$
The only new tank in that tree would be the Japanese Chi-Ha, otherwise don't even bother.
The chinese advertising community even demanded that "their" tree be superior to all others.
I would like to point out that my comment was in reference to this, not that China had better versions. Wow, I think that's the only time I will ever use "China had better versions" in my life.
I don't mind the thought of a Chinese tree. It's the fact that WG has prioritized it over other more desired projects like completing the British tree, adding the Japanese tree or finally adding the second TD and medium lines to the German tree. Which is something they have been promising to do for years.
They decided to make a tree full of copies of preexisting in game vehicles instead of adding new and original vehicles. They wanted to add a new tree all while doing the least amount of work possible to do so.
copies yea, they are similar, but the t34-1 and t34-2 look awesome, we will get the IS 2 with sloped armor,the chinese wz heavy tanks are similar to the soviets but are completely different vehicles-they look different too
i'm looking foward to the mini t54s the chinese have-the type 62 and similar tanks :D
basicalyl the only high tier copy is the wz 120 = the type 59 (tier 9 nonpremium) and even that will have different guns than the t54, the tier X med will be a wider , longer type 59 (like the normal churchill and the BP churchill) and will have a very big gun and good turret armor
so the shinese aren't just cheap copies, while some of the tanks are, most high tiers are unique vehicles that not only look good but will probably have a unique playing style aswell
they seem to posses high alpha damage as the russians, but trade armor for speed and agility so we can expect most chinese tanks to be similar to the is8 in terms of gameplay
also their heavies look loke they will be more maneuvrable but will have less armor than other nations, excluding the french and their meds will be sluggish, but will pack a nice punch and great armor
despite the basic shape and style of the soviet tanks the chinese seem like they will need an entirerly different play style, unique to their tree to WoT
I heard that China threatened to block World of Tanks if WG didn't add a Chinese tree. Though its only a rumor, not sure about the credibility.
Really no reason for this tree to even exist. Brazil had more tanks during and post WWII than China.
Pretty sure I have half of these tanks already, no need for this tree.
