Desert camo.... not good news.
I guess I'm being too optimistic when I say that they "could" be sent to secure our southern border (which is miles and miles of desert for anyone unfamiliar with American geography) and NOT another potentially decade long escapade in the middle east...
But then again that would actually require the people in D.C. to stop being lying and corrupt sh*tbags. And we all know that ISN'T gonna happen anytime soon... -_-

To add to the optimistic side of your argument... the largest US garrisoned tank bases are in the deserts of the souther US. Fort Bliss, Fort Hood, and Fort Irwin. There is no more Fort Knox(at least for armor), and the few exception now are Fort Carson and Fort Benning, who are mostly infantry, with the odd abrams tank battalion mixed in.
