My favorite would probably be around the time periods of the Crusades (1100's) because people finallly got there crap together again and from there on out, they started learning, creating , and thinking in a way that hadn't been thought of in 800 years. What do you guys think? Im interested to hear...

Probably the prehistoric times. Simply surviving was a challenge back then, but they didn't have to think about all the ******** we have today, like politics and religion. Living by the day, only trying to survive. It would be a simple existance, but I think that that is the beauty of it.
Very true.
And neither mod pages wich make you writte what you think.
What?
For me it would be either around 1100bc in Ancient Greece before the fall of Troy, or during the Sengoku period in Japan, BushidÅ has always fascinated me and i would have loved to meet Takeda Shingen!
Tho i must agree with a poster above me(Scorponizer), prehistoric times would have been great also, without all the politics, religion and other crap.
Gotta remember, I mean I go camping all the time and its no walk in the park, so just something to consider, how civilization is bad, yet has many advantages.
it's just the people, people make each history age unique, if they are wrong then they get it that time wrong until someone change something.
True, people make history, the Dark ages were just inherit because one generation killed the romans ending learning for 800 years. The people affect the true history such as if Ibn Battuta hadn't explored the Muslim world probably would have never known about the possible trade routes with northern europeans and far east asians nearly as early as they did.
I'd probably want to be living in the future since that's when we could have even better technology if we somehow don't mess our future up.
Ha that would be a good dream XD
For me it's probably in the period of ca. 300 BC in Central Gaul. Their laws (like women being equal to men) were great and they were living in cities that still had nature in them (probably because they didn't pave everything). Obviously medicine wasn't great back then AFAIK. Also the music, apparently back then if they got bored they'd play instruments like the harp.
The celts were interesting, peaceful most of the time, completely bloodthirsty when need be, spanned from the outer Hebrides, to the northern reaches of spain. There culture effected so many other modern day ones and people just think of them as barbarians.
There culture doesn't really affect it as much as you think. France doesn't really have any celtic traditions unless they are breton, Iberia literally all their culture got destroyed by Moors, Romans and Germanics. Everything else they didn't last that long in europe to affect them. Either taken back by Natives or got expanded upon.
True, true. But celtic culture has its strongholds in modern day society, and can even be seen prevalently all throughout Europe and North America.
In very old times , in matriarchal times , in the ages of amazons , where i could've been a respected fightress and maybe more..or less.
That would be the age for me.
I hate the present time and world and everything in it !...well not actually but close.
The best time period to live,in my opinion,is after the end of the crusades. These times people stopped to believe in daemons and witchcraft and started to think and make great thinks that changed their lives to the best.
I think that a great time to be alive would be the enlightenment period. People actually started to see the world in a different light and started to protest the control of the world by the church and monarchies.
Never.
Wow, dark. Okay then. I would suggest you try to be more positive :)
My favourite time to live in, is today. Nevertheless, I am sure that tomorrow will be even better when the warm spring sun will awake me with a kiss.
Apart from that I'd like to visit the republic and early imperial era of Rome. But I would never want to live there.
I would like to live in between 7-9th century viking age scandinavia.
