I hope it's josh weadon that makes the movie because he did an amazing job with the avengers.
What does this mean for fanfilms, mods, art and writing that is based on the star wars universe? Will Disney share the same views as George Lucas when it comes to fans adding to his universe? When George Lucas heard about Star Wars Fanfilms back in the Nineties, he was both impressed and flattered.
He soon issued a doucument stating that Star Wars fanfilms are protected from copyright infringement laws... Is this document still valid, or will Disneys notoriously evil legal department come down hard on writers, artists, and fans who have invested thousands of hours and capitol to bring us Dark Ressurection volume 0, among many other great fanfilms. I just hope we don't see a repeat of Battlestar Galactica mods being pulled just because of Lucasfilms nw ownership... :/
