We all loved this movie didn't we....

When Supreme Chancellor Palpatine betrays the jedi and takes over the republic and turns it into a galactic empire! Liberty apparently died, and Anakin Skywalker lost his mind over the pregnancy of his wife (whom he tried to save but ended doing the opposite of his intentions) which is what was gonna happen if he tried to help but of course he believed Palpatine over his girlfriend. The clones were ordered to execute order 66 (kill all the jedi) and leave no survivors.
