The best Sci-Fi ship EVER.The Yamato will always have a special place in my heart.

And what you are trying to say is?
I kinda dislike space ships that are designed as seaborne ships.
You know streamlined, weapons placements set only on the "top" of the ship, the bridge sticking out in the top and treating space like a 2D plane instead of a 3D one.
But that's because I'm leaning towards hard sci-fi instead of soft sci-fi or space fantasy.
FYI the Yamato was NEVER a purpose-built space ship. The original wreak of the Yamato was converted to serve as a space battleship and it was built in time when the Humanity was desperate and facing extinction.Humanity had only one year to send a ship to find the what is needed to save there race so there was little time for a complete redesign of the hull.
Oh and BTW, as far i can understand,the SBY was the first hard sci-fi show EVER.Before it,the sci-fi shows were complete BS.

Pretty nice, but I would prefer a Space Battleship Bismarck or Missouri, lol.
Bismarck:Humm.....why not?The Bismarck was a badass like the Yamato and the crew were almost had the same level of determination and almost had the same level of discipline.It would be a fun show to watch.
