Is this conflict (really) close to the end?

Syrian Soldiers have conquered nearly all Rebel outposts. The Assad's victory is really close. But, is it? Will US, Israel, or any other country destabilize Syria once more (by sending more funds and weapons) or even enter in open conflict? Or is it over?
My side is along Assad. He is not perfect, but thanks to some info, books etc. it looks that the Rebels made much, much more atrocities against Syrian people (remember videos where FSA member ate heart, dismembering, hanging, decapitating, etc. Syrian soldiers and policemen, and even new video where FSA members killed 15 year-old boy in front of his parent's eyes!). At the end, look at Libya!
Rebels are not always the good guys. For example, other than the FSA, if the Neo-Nazis in Germany would rise against the government, do you really think they would be the good guys? Same thought goes for red neck militias or moslems that want to establish the sharia in the western world by force.
After talking to Syrian guy, and seeing a lecture given by diplomat to students, I can only support Assad.
According to that diplomat who was there, those so called rebels are basically mercs from all around corners payed by western countries, but mostly Qatar. Qatar prince also owns the biggest part of Al Jazeera Tv, from which are those reports you see in news.

The real question is, who would serve the major powers better?
It appears that for all of Assad's faults, it's still in the interest of the West (and Russia, don't forget Russia) to have him still in control of the country. Mostly because if the rebels ever succeed they would mostly likely end up hating everyone (like the Taliban back in the 90s...).
Assad may not be perfect, but he's far better than the other option. The lesser of two evils is Assad, in this case, it seems.
In the middle east, unless a secular revolution happens its never going to be good. Its that simple, really.
So basically until every bit of footage coming out of there ceases to have people yelling "allah akbar" in it.
