Would you come in if we would run succession game? Anyone else thinking it would get epic? Tell me your opinions and maybe we can start our own succession game in Dwarf Fortress!

This may be a silly question but.
How does a succession game work?

A vanilla succession game is a game where a player oversees the fort for one year, and then uploads the save file for the next player. Each player has one year to do things with the fort, and it rotates thusly. Each player generally records what happened during their year with text and screenshots.

I'd be totally down for one, anyway--we might want some special restrictions or a "theme," but other than that it'd be fun! The only other succession I currently play is !!DRUNK FORTRESS!!, and I don't have the funds for drink currently so it might be enjoyable to partake in another one.

Sounds fun. I'd probably record my sessions. Much more fun ;P.

There are some really awesome succession ideas on Bay 12. Some include:

City of Glass (All things built out of glass.)
Cat Town (All cat owners must have their own lavish homes, cats cannot be slaughtered and eaten, only cat owners can hold an office, etc.)
Necropolis (The Dead take priority over everything; catacombs must be massive and ornate, and no dead are allowed to go unburied--do it in an evil biome for walking dead flavor.)
Resource Restriction (Your embark only has certain resources, so perhaps stone or wood don't exist and must be traded for.)
Honorbound (No bows or traps allowed. Can go so far as to only using dwarven wrestlers for combat.)
Honor the Miners (All miners are honored with lavish rooms and are the only melee military dwarves.
Eugenics (You kill off dwarves with bad genetic/personality traits in order to breed a race of superdwarves... Very slow, but very interesting.)
Vampire City (Wait until you get a vampire and infect the water supply with their blood. Welcome to Hell.)

There are tons of variations, especially when you get into the choice of embark and biome. The world is your oyster here, guys!

I think Necropolis would be awesome. Ever read 'Pyramids' by Terry Pratchet? Think that.
