A place to discuss rationality (Bayesian or otherwise), science and the scientific method, debunking superstituion, conspiricies, and urban legends, and generally just get away from a world where you're the only one whose learned how not to be crazy. Anyone interested in learning more about rationality, this is the place to ask.
This is from neutral point of view of course. I thought it had a touch of genius in it. Not mine. Sorry I don't remeber where I found it.
I found that funny. Any opinions?
Sound for all that is scientific, but it must be understood that some things cannot be smashed against a brick wall (the soul, for example).
Other than that, it is a good observation.
It works with my head. =D
Hey, time for a crash course in scientific thinking.
"If you can't test it, it can't be wrong. If it can't be wrong, then there is no way for it to be right."
Actually your wrong.
"Until a observation is made both state are possible."
Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Of course this would be the raw message but it still applicable. In fact I gonna make a another upload to prove my point.
Actually, were both right in our own ways now that I think about it. One doesn't invalidate the other. Who is the author of your quote?

Your "can't be" and "no way" statements equate science and all sources of understanding, putting the statement on a scientific naturalist premise not necessary for scientific reasoning.
