The one problem I have with neo-pagans is that they are usually crypto-hippies, whilst the original pagans were completely antithetical to them.
Is hard being a genuine old school pagan these days
I dislike myself the wiccan types that are overweight , have green hair , are feminist , salute all the time with Namaste or Love & Light , talk all the time about indigo auras and such pseudo stuff and say they are alchemists at home
Being a true pagan , as true that can get these days is going at it seriously with an old cult , an old religion and such and practicing it seriously
As for me i just study them and keep the knowledge going , as much as this works these days
Is our past and it needs to be preserved afterall

I think it was obvious for you boys already but now i notice myself that many Metal bands hail from the north and are nordic
I wonder why , perhaps is a way to sing and speak of the old ways through the music

As for all the bands, I think it has to do with Metal being originated in Europe, and also the music style suits the atmosphere of the countries pretty well.
There are many Metal bands from Chile. My two personal favorites are Iron Spell (a classic Heavy Metal band), and Folkheim (a Folk/Black Metal band). Folkheim uses national instruments and themes, although I don't know what many of their songs speak about cause they are underground and there is not many information about the songs meanings.
