On June 27th, the Modinformer team will be playing Resistance and Liberation, the realistic world war 2 half life 2 mod, that features No Crosshair, No Hud, No Death Messages, and a Revised Score Display.
The main idea of modplay monday is to bring interest back into supposedly dead and forgotten mods, and show the developers we haven't forgotten the work they've done, and hopefully give them motivation to continue work on the mod.
Also - Spycheckerz from youtube informed me of RnL High Activity Announcer (or RnLHAA).

oh yes very nice, this is a great mod for HL2, no CoD ********. You shoot he dies not whoever got the better weapon and all.
If you decide to get this mod try to work as a team since it is really fun and effective. Hope you guys decide to go for it ^^

Not paused... the 1.6 patch will be out this summer.
So any mod that has arcadey gameplay is instantly equated to COD? What.
COD is often confused as a realistic War simulator.

Stop beating a dead horse. There are good reasons why RnL 1.5 isn't played that much.
You should try to revive Alpha 4 instead. It was more stable, had more maps and didn't make your brain hurt with all the stutter that 1.5 has.

Please understand, we're doing this for the developers, i can only imagine how much it sucks to work so hard and have no one on the mod 75% or more of the time.
And we're not beating a dead horse, but... Alpha 4 sounds like a better idea.
If you want to revive a Source mod, revive Overwatch! RTS cmder vs. Squad of Rebels. They were doing such a good job...
We have time, However, I'm aiming further back - perhaps a Half Life 1 mod next? and then back to Source.
The Battlegrounds 1 was an awesome mod. But if you do make sure you get the 1.2.1 version Moddb.com

The killed the mechanics. It feels like my legs are slower then my head when I play that. No sense of motion.
My clan tried to keep this alve til we realized how bad it plays out.
Maybe because its realistic? How would you walk fast when you have 40 kilograms of combat equipment strapped to yourself. Maybe realistic games arent for you.
The only realistic mod for Source imho. INS is a twitch shooter at best.
