Photography is the process, activity and art of creating still or moving pictures by recording radiation on a medium, such as a photographic film, or an electronic sensor. Light patterns reflected or emitted from objects activate a chemical or electronic sensor during a timed exposure, usually through a photographic lens in a device known as a camera that stores the resulting information chemically or electronically. Photography has many uses for business, science, art and pleasure.

Description

The photo was taken looking west along the Yarra River from Princes Bridge in Melbourne, Victoria. Straight ahead is the Yarra River Footbridge, to the left is Southbank and on the right is Flinders Street Station (mostly out of frame). I think my composition is crap, but I was in a rush. :P

The camera used was a Nikon D90 with an 18-55mm VR lens, tripod was also used. Photo was taken on Manual. Focal length was 18mm, aperture was at f/8, exposure time was 4 seconds at ISO 200.

No post processing applied other than a resize and resample to make the file smaller. (Original was over 6MB).
