Post news Report RSS MassEffect 3 Spectre Supermarket

I made this news article for Mass Effect fan group. Created a coalesced mod for PC single player and wanted to show it to other people. More information is on user2929 blog.

This is coalesced mod for PC Mass Effect 3 Single player. It allows to buy all armor, all weapons, all weapon mods, new armor, new headgear in the Spectre store right from the beginning of the game till the end. CapsLock key speeds up time 3 times so that you can run around citadel very fast. Prices high for balance. Unique armor now costs 25000 credits and that is equivalent to 5 pieces of armor parts.
There is and option to take a loan from volus bank if you are short of credits. Fair players can pay back this loan later. Cheaters can leave autoclicker cursor on this loan item and take millions out of bank, then position autoclicker cursor one item below and all weapons to level X and weapon mods to level V will be purchased automatically.

Does this mod make every armor piece available including the pre-order bonuses or just the ones you can find/buy in game?

And how about Origin? Doesn't your Origin account get disabled when you modify the game, even on singleplayer? I read about it on the BioWare forums so please people, be ware of these kinds of mods.

On a side note, this also seems like mod for lazy people, nothing more.

A mod's a mod. When it comes to Mass Effect the mods have always been lacking. Truly, the only mods you will find (and the only mods that can be made) are: re-textures, cheat mods, tweak mods.

There was a couple good tweak mods for ME2 i remember (that actually made the game more interesting and challenging), but the vast majority were cheat mods like this one.

Besides, i don't like to cheat in my playthroughs but i know a lot of other people like to make the game easier for themselves so...

I like them because if I missed something on my first serious playthrough I can just get it like this back, or play on insane difficulty from the start with having my favorite equipment.

this is posted by bioware guy on forums. quote:
"Thomas Abram wrote...

To clarify,

Scylla was
correct and I was correct. Scylla's answer was more broadly based in
that if you modify your SP and it has no game changing effects to
your/others multiplayer experience (say for example, granting you x
amount of credits or making a weapon x times more powerful) then there
is no problem with this. My answer was poorly worded and I apologize for
that - I was aiming to answer a couple questions I had received via PM
(the same two questions from many different users) as well as support
what Scylla said.

As mentioned by Scylla, you will not be banned
for modifying your files *unless (and this is where my intention was)
they give you an unfair advantage in any multiplayer aspect of the
game."

the question is this mod enables bonus content, (which was on the disk) but they want us to pay for it.
so will downloading this bring down the moderators on our heads this is the question.

Ok I downloaded it but the .bin is empty; there are no files in it so it doesn't replace anything... because it's empty; I checked with Winrar, IZArc, 7zip, even KGB archiver.

The package is the .rar archive. it contains 2 files. #1 the readme file which contains text info about what is in the mod and how to install it. #2 is the coalesced.bin file. This is the mod. you must copy that file over the original coalesced.bin in the /game install directory/biogame/cookedpcconsole.
I downloaded mod, applied it and it works. any problems are on you side. read the readme file and google for tutorials how to apply coalesced mods if you are not sure how that thing works.
