I'm wondering where in Middle Earth this is? Looks pretty awesome!
Sadly the artist didn't tell us (source at Daroz.deviantart.com ). From the looks of it, I'd wager he took some heavy inspiration from Morgoth's invasion of Gondolin.
A lot of the folks think is Helm's Deep, since it looks like Aragorn and Legolas up on the ramparts with the Elves from Lorien.
And i will explain and you will know after the next pics i am going to post my brethren.
