It was a pyrrhic victory.
the only reason they are still alive is because Count Dooku was going to show them mercy if they surrendered. Dooku is not as bad as you think. Mace Windu on the other hand was going to kill the Sith lord in cold blood.
I cant even think on how the clone wars would have even been won if Dooku did not show them mercy. Senator not have ties to the outer rim. Very important jedi not winning decisive battles.
