well most electronics can be submerged in water and still work aslong as its not powered. things like phones/laptops all you need to do is pull the battery and you will be fine
indeed , my cellphone was thrown into toilet by mephew , after drying it was working , if somehting is not powered it wont break unless you plug it in still powered (my pc was not recharged , as i forgot and battery was depleted:P)

this works, you only need to left your pc dry for few days, i washed my motherboard, still working
