A conspiracy is often established, its secrecy, to avoid any prosecution. If you can cover up your crimes, you'll avoid to be prosecuted. It is that simple. And a cover-up can be many different things: a destruction of evidence, a lack of transparency, dishonesty, partially untrue statements (making entire statements invalid), strictly selective choice of sources or their parts, classification, etc.
Also, there are some hidden ordinary groups (causing completely zero harm to anyone), or groups, which avoid dragging attention to them to avoid any unjust persecution. An example of such a group can be a neo-pagan group, which hides its rituals and gatherings to avoid any religious intolerance. Members of such groups can also hide their true religious beliefs, claiming being a member of one of the major religions. Taqqiyak is the practice of hiding Islamic beliefs. Cheating and deceiving goyim (non-jews) by jews is considered mitzvah. Such persecution is rare nowadays though, due to more scrupulous laws being introduced.

To be honest there aren't really any facts in the world at all. You cannot prove everything right or wrong. Therefore you shouldn't call it a Conspiracy Facts group. It should be a Conspiracy THEORIES group. ;)
As a rationalist, I can officially call ******** on this. There are simple processes anyone can follow to determine truth, verification through experiments and observation. The idea that anything is unknowable is frankly offensive to people who actually put effort and research into their decision making processes instead of little punks like yourself who decide that it's easier just to declare all things equal so the gems of your ignorant and substandard intellect can be placed on the same level as the knowledge aquired through study and hard work.

Using waterboarding on terrorist suspects by interrogators isn't a fact? That you have hands to write isn't a fact? That you have a head, it isn't a fact?

Besides, Darwin did himself in thinking up a "missing link" concept, since this very idea disproves his theory - if there are some missing links, it's something wrong with the theory of evolution itself, isn't it?
The only valid proof for his theory is similarities between a human and a monkey.

Evolution is such a theory. The theory of evolution has undergone nearly a century and a half of rigourous scientific testing, including eyes-on verification inside and out of labs. Every single fact we have discovered has reinforced that evolution by natural selection is the method by which life developed. Even those that on the surface appeared to refute the theory turned out to be powered by mechanisms that supported it when examined on a closer level. The theory is used practically to chart the development of diseases, to plan animal breeding programs, and even for the development of bacteria that is beneficial to humanity. It is proven as completely as anything can be proved and the only doubt that remains is philosphical, doubt that the physical universe is not just some lie piped directly into our brains by an external intelligence, to which I say "Cogito ergo sum!"
Yup, that's why there are creationists around and the creationism concept - since the theory of evolution wasn't entirely proven to be true, even though it has its strong points.

Also, one can check which so-called 'Christian' rituals and holidays have any pagan origins. The Church itself assimilated so many pagan religions and pagan places of worship (building their 'pagan' shrines/temples there)... so one could assume it's rather entirely pagan now (saints replaced gods and they're patrons of specific jobs or activities, ASO).
