Has anyone seen Ender's Game? Imo, it's nothing compared to the book. No one would be able to understand it unless they read the book. It left out all the important stuff just to make it appeal to mainstream audiences. More explosions, lasers, and sexual tension and less of the evolution of the characters. Anyone else have any opinions?
I actually didn't read the books. I thought it was fine though (if very predictable, oh he was really fighting the aliens for realz? WOAH didn't see that coming). TBH there wasn't enough character stuff for me to care. There the main guy, the girl, the douchebag who becomes a friend, etc.
I liked it because i love sci-fi in general, i can watch the cheesiest sci-fi **** and still like it (I watched all of Stargate SG1 in like 2 and a half weeks)... Not saying SG1 is cheesy, but lets be honest, the first couple seasons were pretty high on the cheese factor...
Yes SG1 is cheesey, that why we love it.
