If DLCs are done correctly, like in the Elder Scrolls Series (best example being the Shivering Isles), then I'm all for it as its extra content. However, when you pay to unlock content that's already in the base game, such as Sparta, Athens and Epirus in Rome 2, then its a pretty nasty method of conducting business. Still, some implementation of DLC into the main game (as was done with the Fallout New Vegas DLCs) can work, but again its about doing it correctly.
