Very true. I am trying to be active but it seems I am alone hehe. No worries. Hey maybe it's time to just let it go and get on Cryengine 5 or Lumberyard?

Original FarCry is the best! Even though modern console players may denigrate the graphics, the fact that it has proper mod tools makes it a fantastic canvas for modding. All the FarCry modders deserve a big thank you for the wonderful content they have produced for this great game. :)
I was also curious about getting into modding it myself but I don't want to spend any money on commercial modeling/animation programs. Can Blender or some other free tool be used to make models and animations for FarCry? Are there any other tools besides the sandbox editor that I would need?

Look up on crymods.net , there all your questions will be answered.
Done with the CryEngine for now. Gonna visit other modern game engines for the future projects.
It was a great experience.
P.S. I still will wait for the all upcoming Far Cry mods!
