I was wondering when the Linux version of Desura will allow users to download MODs for there favorite mod-enabled Linux games, like Amnesia: The Dark Descent.

Atm there is no planed mod support due to the complexities that this adds and the very limited number of linux games with mod support.

Alright, I sorry to hear MOD support will not be coming any time soon.

I used to manage about 20 MODS on a particular FPS. It was always a huge time sink preping for lan parties. Hopefully this feature gets implemented someday...even if its some kind of community supported/funded server that can be added in a, say, repo-ish like way to the client.

"Being able to customize your games is at the heart of everything Desura does...". I really thought MOD support was a feature regardless of platform until I saw this thread....just wanted to point that out...

On Linux all you have to do to support mods for Enemy Territory is to install or link the mod into $HOME/.etwolf

I would still love to see source mods become available to Linux users. These are some of my favorite games, because of their creative potential using something already in existence. One of my favorite games in recent years to play is Goldeneye: Source. But I'd also love to try others, like Dear Esther.
