Left 4 Dead 22 commentsModDB showcases some more art submitted for the Left 4 Dead concept art contest.
This group was created for the purpose of gathering concept artists who love working with mods and those who look forward to joining one.
All members are encouraged to upload one image to represent them.
That way if Mod developers are looking for an artist they can easily pick one with the right style or area of expertise.
(But please, if you join the group do not upload more than 2 images and preferably it should relate to concept art as much as possible)

20 days ago, we challenged our community of creators with the task of conveying "raw power" in the form of game concept art. Here are the results.
ModDB and Dell bring you an all-new game concept art competition that challenges you to put forth your best depiction of raw power.
any concept artists interested in a project?
How do I upload images to this group?
Go to right upper corner of "Latest Screens"
Then + (Add Media)
hmm... there's only the RSS button there, even though I'm a member.
Hey guys, if I can only draw (not great, but not bad) but I do have tons of ideas (some original) I can already become concept artist, or do I need more then that.
Also if anybody can, check my drawings please. I'd like to get some suggestions :)
Does anyone here use DeviantArt im finding it hard to get into unless you make a ton of fanbased art :/
I'm on deviant art
I use Deviantart and conceptart.org atm. Planning on getting into CGhub some time soon as well.
There is really only one way to get well known on theese sites imo, and that is to be really good. Practice and studying is the key, so draw all you can!
DeviantArt is the biggest art community in the whole web, you can't expect to get in there easily. It's a whole different system and you need many thousand fans before you do even get a little bit of attention. There are ways to push your popularity though, for example with using various groups on there to submit your art. Also, there's a forum called Deviation ThumbShare, that's the best way to get more attention on there, imho. I created my main fanbase with that.
Ok thanks for the help i would like to get a vaugely popular deviant art page going.
Cghub.com is bigger
look at new art everyday :D
i have 2800 favorites on it
Ghost59.cghub.com
check them out
CGhub is definitely not bigger than deviantart. On dA many million users are active and if you check out the latest pieces, you will recognize that new art works are submitted every second (I'm checking right now 3-5 pieces per single second). However, CGHub is aiming towards professionals and career building etc. while dA is really for everyone in the world.
Also, this number speaks for itself and how many employees are at dA:"
• 58 tickets resolved in the last 24 hours.
• 2,530 tickets resolved in the last week.
• 11,146 tickets resolved in the last 30 days."
Thus dA is definitely the place to show art around and build a fan base, if you're interested in that. For more professional tipps etc. I'd go to CGHub, although there are many well known professionals from the industry active on dA, aswell.
