This group is exactly what the name implies. A group for people who are Christians. If you're a Christian then please join us. We're a place on ModDB for Christians to gather and talk. It's as simple as that.
Of course, Easter is just a pagan holiday and truly has nothing to do with Christianity. I forget how it was made to supposedly be a Christian holiday... but meh, doesn't really matter (to me anyway lol).
(Also, for God sake people... don't downvote comments ya don't agree with :P)
No, Easter is the pagan word for a pagan holiday but the original term of the Christian Easter was Pascha which derives from Passover and - even the date - being on Sunday shows it derives from the Jewish Passover.
BTW I saw the original one at the Vatican and the person to the left looks more masculine then that... i think this is the masonic ripoff that said that Jesus was either gay or in a relationship with Mary Madeleine
you dont know the masons don't believe any of that mary magnaline crap. i have acouple friends who are masters masons (and one is the grandmaster of a pretty large lodge) and get HIGHLY offended by all the conspiricy crap that is put on them.
The painting is a copy (which is kinda obivous seeming its new) and they have brightened it up abit which will make people look younger and more femine, and tat was the style at the time anyways.
I reconmmend you take some art history classes- they are usualy rather boring but worth it, they explain this stuff and why it was painted in this way.
For once, I have to agree with ya. While some of the Masons' dealings in the past may have been a little shady, it certainly does not mean that they're in on some grand conspiracy.
Of course, it's good to not get too dogmatic about one side of the argument, no matter what side it is, as both are always based on upon some truth.
