Correction: God does NOT have a begining or end.

if everything has to have a creator, than so does god- ergo he had a beginnning.
if god dosent need a creator than EVERYTHING doesnt need to be created ergo the universe doesnt need a creator and therefore there is no god.

okay but God is not physical, the universe is physical, also there is a reason we call God, God, because he existed before time itself, God made time. however if you wish to believe in the big bang then God then thats your choice.
The big bang is the expansion of the universe, not the alternative of a God. Its ok for me if you believe in God, heaven and that stuff as long as it doesnt contradict science. And since science has holes and always will have - since the philosophical truth cannot be known by a human mind -, you have your God to fill them up until its proven otherwise.
its not that i wish to believe in the big bang, i would love to believe ingod and unicorns and all the other imaginary crap- but i cant.
what i desire and what is have nothing to do with eachother.
just because i my want there to be magic and for there to be gods doesnt mean there are.
